A piece of vintage horse tack gets a completely new life in this newest SureShotâ„¢ belt buckle design.

The focal point is an authentic mid-century H.A. Chapman horse bridle rosette, circa 1950s–60s, featuring a gold-toned horse head beneath vivid red domed glass. Originally designed for use on a horse bridle, the approximately 1 5/8" rosette has been transformed into the centerpiece of one of our signature oval rope-edge buckles.

We removed the original rear attachment and mounted the rosette over a large detailed silver-plated concho, then built the design outward with a bed of repurposed brass .45 Auto casings and an inner ring of nickel 9mm casings with warm gold-toned primer centers.

The result mixes silver, brass, red and vintage equestrian history into one bold Western buckle made for cowgirls, cowboys, equestrians, mounted shooters and anyone who likes their Western style with a story.
