SureShot Jewelry – Return, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

At SureShot Jewelry, every piece is handcrafted and made-to-order. Because of the custom nature of our work, we ask all customers to review the policies below before placing an order.

Order Cancellations

All SureShot pieces are made-to-order.
For this reason, we do not accept cancellations once an order is placed.
If you contact us requesting a cancellation, approval is at our discretion and may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee to cover labor, handling, and materials already incurred at the time the order was placed.

Returns & Refunds

We generally do not accept returns due to the handcrafted and made-to-order nature of our jewelry.  All returns and exchanges are handled on a case-by-case basis, and approval is not guaranteed. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
If you believe there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at sales@sureshotjewelry.comWe review each request individually. If we approve a return or refund, we will provide detailed instructions along with a Return Authorization Number (RAN)Returning an item without an RAN will result in the package being refused and returned to sender.
If a return is approved:
  • Item must be returned within 15 days of approval.
  • Item must arrive in original, unaltered condition without damage, wear, or modification.
  • A restocking fee* may apply (typically 50% of the retail price).
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method after inspection.

*Note on Restocking Fees:  Approved returns may incur a restocking fee, typically up to 50%, depending on the item and the circumstances of the return. This fee covers the labor, materials, and handling time associated with processing handcrafted, made-to-order jewelry.  Restocking fees apply only to authorized returns as well as cancellations due to a returned shipment that is of no fault of ours, and will be communicated to you before you send any item back.  SureShot Jewelry reserves the right to refuse any refund request for any reason.

Exchanges

If an exchange is approved:
  • The item must be returned within 10 days of approval.
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect due to our error.
  • Item must arrive in original, unaltered condition.
  • If the item is not received within the required timeframe, the exchange offer will be void.
We recommend shipping returns in the original packaging via a trackable carrier such as USPS or UPS. Customers are responsible for loss, damage, theft, or mis-delivery of returned packages.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and customization reasons, the following items cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:
  • Earrings (all styles)
  • Custom or personalized jewelry
  • Metal cuffs
  • Belt buckles
  • Items purchased on sale or clearance
  • Gift Certificates / SureShot Bucks

Buyer’s Remorse & Customer Responsibility

Because each piece is handcrafted and many designs are made to order, we are unable to accept returns based on buyer’s remorse or preference. This includes situations such as:

  • Not reading the full product description
  • Choosing the wrong size, length, style, or color
  • Expecting a different weight, scale, or appearance
  • Deciding you no longer want or need the item
  • Finding a similar item elsewhere after ordering
  • Misunderstanding the definition of “upcycled,” “repurposed,” or “vintage”
  • Expecting identical patina, wear, or markings on vintage components

We do our best to provide thorough descriptions and photographs so you can shop with confidence, and we are always happy to answer questions prior to ordering.

Damaged Items in Transit

If your order arrives damaged:
  1. Email clear photos to sales@sureshotjewelry.com
  2. Report the issue within 7 days of delivery
  3. We will review and, if confirmed, provide a replacement at no additional cost
Items showing tampering, excessive wear, or modification are not eligible for replacement.

Important Clarification:  Issues related to fit, personal preference, scale, color expectations, or misunderstanding of the item description are not considered defects and do not qualify for return. Only items that arrive damaged in shipment or incorrect due to our error may be eligible for replacement or correction.

Lost Earring Note:  Due to constant rotation of brass casing inventory and variation in brands, we cannot guarantee an exact match for lost earrings. A new pair may need to be purchased.

Returns on Purchases Made with SureShot Bucks

If your item was purchased with SureShot Bucks (gift certificates) and a return is approved through our standard review process, the refund will be issued as a website credit for the amount paid at purchase.
Sale items purchased with SureShot Bucks are refunded at the sale price paid.

Returning a Gift

If you received a SureShot Jewelry gift and need assistance, contact us with the name and/or email address of the gift giver so we can locate the order.
Gift returns must be requested within 7 days of the original delivery date. If approved, we may offer:
  • An exchange, or
  • A website credit for future use
We can only process gift returns for purchases made directly at SureShotJewelry.comItems that were on sale or clearance at the time of purchase are not eligible for return.

How to Package an Approved Return

If a return or exchange has been approved:
  • Use the original packaging when possible (including jewelry pouch).
  • If unavailable, use a secure jewelry box inside a bubble mailer.
  • Include a copy of your invoice or gift receipt.
  • Provide contact information in case we have questions.
  • Ship using a trackable carrier.
SureShot Jewelry is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, or mis-delivery of returned packages.

Our Right to Refuse

We reserve the right to refuse any refund, return, or exchange for any reason, including but not limited to:
  • Items returned without authorization
  • Items showing wear, damage, alteration, or tampering
  • Returns mailed outside the allowed timeframe
  • Misuse of coupons, gift credits, or chargeback attempts
