Three pieces of Ducks Unlimited history have been given an entirely new life in this one-of-a-kind leather cuff.

Created from a section of a well-worn vintage men's western belt, preserving its original tooling, natural patina and beautifully softened leather. Across the front are three authentic vintage Ducks Unlimited bronze Sponsor pins featuring a Snow Goose, Gadwall and American Widgeon.

Originally worn as lapel pins recognizing supporters of Ducks Unlimited and its waterfowl-conservation mission, each vintage piece was carefully transformed for this design. We removed the original pinback mechanisms, mounted the medallions into brass bezels and hand-riveted each bezel securely to the leather.

The vintage Sponsor-pin artwork is associated with renowned wildlife artist Larry Toschik, a former Ducks Unlimited trustee and DU Artist of the Year known for his beautifully rendered birds and waterfowl.

The result is part waterfowl collectible, part western leather cuff and entirely wearable history.  Ideal for any duck huntress or hunter!

VINTAGE CHARACTER

The leather shows the wear, markings, softened edges and color variation expected from an old belt that had years of use before coming into my studio. Those signs of age are intentional parts of this piece and help make it impossible to duplicate.
